Severe thunderstorms capable of producing tornados are moving through central Indiana. Here are the latest weather updates.
INDIANAPOLIS — Severe weather is moving into Indiana and it could bring damaging winds and potential tornados to parts of the state.

Severe Weather Updates
9:58 p.m. — Both northbound and southbound lanes of State Road 56 at the Hillham Road intersection in Dubois County have now reopened.
9:44 p.m. — INDOT says both northbound and southbound lanes of State Road 56 at the Hillham Road intersection in Dubois County are closed to remove a tree in the roadway.
9:23 p.m. — Most of the severe weather has moved out of the Indianapolis metro area as watches and warning begin to expire.
8:58 p.m. — As most warnings expire, a severe thunderstorm warning has been extended until 9:30 p.m. for Bartholomew, Decatur and Rush counties.
8:47 p.m. — All northbound and southbound lanes of State Road 135 north of Mound Street in Brown County are closed due to a tree in power lines.
8:29 p.m. — INDOT says all lanes of State Road 59 and State Road 54 in Greene County are closed due to a structure collapse. That is in downtown Linton.
8:27 p.m. — The City of Linton says “Due to the severe storm that moved through our area, there are multiple downed power lines across town and a partial building collapse in the downtown area. For everyone’s safety, please avoid traveling into town and stay clear of downtown until further notice.”
8:04 p.m. — A severe thunderstorm warning has been issued for Delaware, Hancock, Henry, Johnson, Madison, Marion, Rush and Shelby counties until 8:30 p.m.
7:54 p.m. — A tornado watch for Bartholomew, Brown, Decatur, Delaware, Hancock, Henry, Johnson, Lawrence, Madison, Marion, Monroe, Morgan, Randolph, Rush & Shelby counties is in effect until 10:00 p.m.
7:51 p.m. — A severe thunderstorm warning for Delaware, Hamilton, Hancock, Henry, Johnson, Madison, Marion, Morgan, Rush and Shelby counties remains in effect until 8:30 p.m.
7:45 p.m. — The tornado warning for Greene County has been canceled.
7:36 p.m. — A tornado warning has been issued for Greene County until 8 p.m.
7:33 p.m. — A severe thunderstorm warning has been issued for Boone, Hamilton, Hendricks, Howard, Madison, Marion & Tipton counties is in effect until 8:00 p.m.
7:31 p.m. — A tornado watch has been updated and issued for Bartholomew, Brown, Decatur, Delaware, Grant, Hamilton, Hancock, Hendricks, Henry, Johnson, Lawrence, Madison, Marion, Miami, Monroe, Morgan, Owen, Randolph, Rush, Shelby and Tipton counties until 9 p.m.
7:14 p.m. — Hamilton, Hancock, Hendricks, Johnson, Marion, Morgan, Owen and Putnam counties are now under a severe thunderstorm warning until 8 p.m.
7:10 p.m. — Boone, Clinton, Hamilton, Hendricks, Howard, Madison, Marion, Putnam and Tipton counties are now under a severe thunderstorm warning until 8 p.m.
7:01 p.m. — A severe thunderstorm warning has been issued for Carroll, Clinton, Howard and Tipton counties until 7:30 p.m.
6:59 p.m. — A severe thunderstorm warning has been issued for Monroe, Morgan and Owen counties until 7:45 p.m.
6:39 p.m. — The tornado warning for Montgomery, Parke and Putnam counties has been canceled.
6:33 p.m. — A severe thunderstorm warning has been issued for Hendricks, Owen and Putnam counties until 7:15 p.m.
6:30 p.m. — A severe thunderstorm warning has been issued for Boone, Clinton, Fountain, Hendricks, Montgomery, Putnam, Tippecanoe and Tipton counties is in effect until 7:15 p.m.
6:23 p.m. — A Tornado WARNING has been issued for central Parke County, southwestern Montgomery County and northwestern Putnam County until 7 p.m. A severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado was located near Rockville, or 19 miles north of Terre Haute, moving east at 45 mph, according to the National Weather Service.
6:14 p.m. — The National Weather Service has issued a tornado watch for Bartholomew, Boone, Brown, Carroll, Cass, Clinton, Decatur, Delaware, Fountain, Grant, Hamilton, Hancock, Hendricks, Henry, Howard, Johnson, Lawrence, Madison, Marion, Miami, Monroe, Montgomery, Morgan, Owen, Putnam, Randolph, Rush, Shelby, Tippecanoe, Tipton, Warren and White counties until 9 p.m.
6:06 p.m. — A severe thunderstorm warning has been issued for Putnam County until 6 p.m. as well as Cass, Miami and White counties until 7 p.m.
5:59 p.m. — Severe thunderstorm warnings have been issued for Carroll, Clinton, Fountain, Montgomery, Tippecanoe & Warren counties until 6:45 p.m.

5:53 p.m. — A tornado watch has been issued for Bartholomew, Benton, Boone, Brown, Carroll, Cass, Clinton, Decatur, Delaware, Fountain, Grant, Hamilton, Hancock, Hendricks, Henry, Howard, Johnson, Lawrence, Madison, Marion, Miami, Monroe, Montgomery, Morgan, Owen, Putnam, Randolph, Rush, Shelby, Tippecanoe, Tipton, Warren and White counties until 9:00 p.m.
5:49 p.m. — A severe thunderstorm warning has been issued for Fountain and Montgomery counties until 6:30 p.m.
5:41 p.m. — A tornado warning has been issued for White and Pulaski counties until 6:15 p.m. The National Weather Service says a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado was located near Remington, moving east at 60 mph.
5:27 p.m. — A severe thunderstorm warning has been issued for White County until 6:30 p.m.
5:21 p.m. — A severe thunderstorm warning has been issued for Fountain and Warren counties until 6 p.m.
5:13 p.m. — The National Weather Service in Chicago has issued a tornado warning for southern Newton, Benton, and southern Jasper counties until 6 p.m.
