Schools announce delays, closing with winter weather advisory in effect

Some school districts are announcing delays with the region under a winter weather advisory until 11 a.m. Monday, March 2.

A messy mix of snow, sleet and ice accumulations are possible across the region Monday morning, according to the National Weather Service in Wilmington.

Fairfield, Hamilton and Ross schools in Butler County are under a two-hour delay.

Walton Verona Schools in Boone County are closed for the day.
