Barcelona have announced their starting XI that will take the field against Sevilla in an all-important La Liga encounter.
With Real Madrid winning against Elche, Barcelona need a win to restore their four-point advantage at the top of the table.

As far as the lineup is concerned, we expected that Xavi Espart would make his debut start and that has certainly been the case.
With Jules Kounde, Alejandro Balde and Andreas Christensen injured, options for Hansi Flick have been very limited, which is why Espart will take up the right-back role, while Joao Cancelo will be the left-back.
Furthermore, Pau Cubarsi and Gerard Martin will form the centre-back partnership, meaning Ronald Araujo and Eric Garcia have been rested.
In midfield, the likes of Pedri and Marc Bernal retain their places after featuring against Newcastle United earlier in the week. Notably, Bernal finished the match with cramps, but he has recovered since.

The attacking midfield role will be occupied by Dani Olmo, as Flick has decided to rest Fermin Lopez.
Meanwhile, Gavi has returned to the squad, although the midfielder’s participation will largely depend on how the match progresses.
The biggest change has been in the attack as Lamine Yamal has been rested. Instead, Flick has opted to choose Roony Bardghji on the right wing.
On the other hand, Raphinha will take up his left wing and while everything pointed to Ferran Torres starting against Sevilla, Robert Lewandowski will lead the lines for this young Barcelona side.
