Several celebrities attending tonight’s Golden Globes are wearing pins protest of last week’s fatal shooting of Renee Good by an Immigration and Customs Enforcement officer in Minneapolis.

The black-and-white pins, with slogans including “BE GOOD” and “ICE OUT,” were seen being worn by Mark Ruffalo, Wanda Sykes and Natasha Lyonne, among others.

Steinfeld is a member of the cast of Sinners, which is nominated for a total of seven awards tonight.

The star of Hacks quickly pivoted to current events on the red carpet when she was asked about the show.

“Everything’s a little bit overshadowed by what’s going on in our country,” Smart said. “I feel like we’re kind of at a turning point in our country, and I hope people can keep their heads — because that’s actually going to be the hardest thing, to keep our heads. It’s going to take a lot of courage, restraint, but I think that’s important.”

Smart added: “I know that there are people who find it annoying when actors take opportunities like this to talk about social and political things, but I’m not here right now speaking as an actor, I’m speaking right now as a citizen and a mom, and I hope people understand that.”

Lawrence is nominated for Best Female Actor, Motion Picture Drama, for her role in Die My Love.

Storrie and Williams are stars of HBO’s Heated Rivalry hockey romance series and presenters at this year’s awards show.

Dakota Fanning was nominated for a Golden Globe last year for her performance in Ripley. Her sister, Elle, is nominated tonight for Best Supporting Female Actor, Motion Picture, for her role in Sentimental Value.

The Sinners star announced her pregnancy on the red carpet, telling Vogue, “I’ve decided to stop trying to camouflage my bump today at the Golden Globes, so me and baby can truly enjoy and embrace the moment fully together.”

Fanning is nominated for Best Supporting Female Actor, Motion Picture, for her role in Sentimental Value.

The Smartless hosts are nominated for Best Podcast — the first year that the category has existed.

Grande is nominated for Best Supporting Female Actor, Motion Picture, for her performance in Wicked: For Good.

On the red carpet, Powell said he and his friends would rent tuxedos and attempt, unsuccessfully, to work their way into A-list events connected to the show. Powell is nominated tonight for Best Male Actor, Television Musical/Comedy, for his lead role in Chad Powers.

Edebiri is nominated for Best Female Actor in the Television Musical/Comedy category for her role in The Bear.

The couple starred in the 2025 supernatural thrillerTogether, but were not nominated for a Golden Globe.

“I’m looking at my spray tan right now, and it’s matching your suit,” Glaser told Amazon the red carpet host Marc Malkin, who was wearing a mustard-colored suit jacket. “It might have gone a little orange.”

After a brief pause, Glaser seemed to reconsider. “You know what?” she said. “I nailed it.”

Hudson is nominated for Best Female Actor, Motion Picture, Musical/Comedy for her role in Song Sung Blue.

Brody is nominated for Best Male Actor in the Television Musical/Comedy category, for Nobody Wants This.

With construction forcing a full red carpet rethink this year, Golden Globes designers quietly hosted a private luncheon for top stylists — a rare heads-up — so fashion teams could plan for a staircase arrival.
