Man arrested after deadly Madison pedestrian crash | News

MADISON, Wis. — Madison police arrested a 30-year-old man on Thursday after they said after he hit a pedestrian on Packers Avenue Monday afternoon. 

Mary Givens, 77, of Madison was hit by a vehicle in the 3300 block of Packers Ave. at around 3:25 p.m. on Monday. She died at a local hospital later that day.

The man was arrested for operating after revocation causing death, failure to install an ignition interlock device, and on a probation hold. 

He was taken to the Dane County Jail.
