Four Superstars Unite For The Country Music Event Of The Year

In the global music industry, the new tracking week begins again every Friday. That’s the day of the week when most artists drop albums and songs, since they will then have a full seven days in which to generate up streams and sales and hopefully score a hit on charts in a number of nations.

Fridays are typically packed with exciting new drops, though the first few months of each year are often quieter than summer and fall. That provides something of an opportunity, as those who do deliver new singles and share full-lengths don’t have to face quite as much competition.

One of the biggest new releases this week comes from four of the hottest and most successful male soloists in the country genre, and as they join forces, their collective cut “McArthur” immediately jumps into the top 10 on iTunes, becoming a fast bestseller.

“McArthur” Unites Country Superstars

The simply-titled “McArthur” credits four country superstars, each one of them bringing both their own voices and their fan bases to the composition. The track names Hardy, Eric Church, Morgan Wallen, and Tim McGraw, and their joint single appears at No. 7 on the iTunes Top Songs tally, which lists the bestselling tracks of any style on the platform in the U.S.

Ella Langley’s “Dandelion” Scores the Top Debut

The quartet claim the second-loftiest new arrival on the iTunes Top Songs chart at the beginning of this just-launched tracking frame. Fellow country musician Ella Langley beats the male superstars, as her newly-shared single “Dandelion” currently settles at No. 5. “Dandelion” sits just a few spaces behind “Choosin’ Texas,” which has helped Langley become something of a new powerhouse in the country field and which could continue to climb the Billboard charts in the coming weeks.

“McArthur” Beats Noah Kahan’s Comeback

Hardy, Church, Wallen, and McGraw are responsible for one of three debuts inside the top 10 on the iTunes Top Songs chart. Following behind “McArthur” and “Dandelion” comes “The Great Divide,” Noah Kahan’s long-awaited comeback single, which begins its time at No. 8.

The Future of “McArthur” Remains Unclear

“McArthur” has been expected for some time, but for the moment, its future seems uncertain. The four men who came together to make what may be 2026’s most exciting country collaboration have not yet announced if the tune will forever be a standalone cut, or if it will eventually be featured on someone’s album.

“McArthur” seems to tie the men together, as the artists all shared someone’s name which ends with McArthur, as well as birth and, if applicable, death dates. No further explanation was given as to the title of the tune.

Morgan Wallen Scores Multiple Bestsellers

For both Church and McGraw, “McArthur” stands as their only placement on the iTunes Top Songs chart at the moment. As the new single arrives, Hardy’s “Favorite Country Song” returns to the list at No. 136. Wallen, meanwhile, is the most successful of the bunch. Three other tunes by the country talent – “I Got Better,” “I’m the Problem,” and “What I Want” with Tate McRae – all appear on the same list, coming in at Nos. 110, 112, and 177 respectively.

Morgan Wallen’s Album Remains Inside the Top 10

Wallen is also the only one of the four artists who manages to appear on the iTunes Top Albums ranking. His latest blockbuster, I’m the Problem, which took over the world in 2025, remains a top 10 bestseller even during a new tracking week. I’m the Problem returns to the top 10 on the iTunes Top Albums chart, pushing to No. 8.
