Final Injury Report for Nuggets-Mavericks, Will Jamal Murray, Aaron Gordon Play?

The Denver Nuggets are on the road on Wednesday night as they travel to take on the Dallas Mavericks in a Western Conference matchup.

Denver enters Wednesday’s game with a 27-13 record after defeating the New Orleans Pelicans on the road on Tuesday night.

In Tuesday’s victory over the Pelicans, Jamal Murray led the way for the Nuggets as he recorded 35 points and nine assists while Peyton Watson added 31 points, seven rebounds and five assists of his own.

Now Denver will try to grab another victory on the road on Wednesday as they face off against a struggling Mavericks team.

On the other side, Dallas enters Wednesday’s contest with a 15-25 record after defeating the Brooklyn Nets at home on Monday night.

Cooper Flagg led the way for the Mavericks in Monday’s victory as he ended the game with 27 points, five rebounds and five assists while Naji Marshall recorded 22 points, four rebounds and nine assists.

While both teams are looking to pick up a victory in Wednesday night’s matchup, both squads may be without multiple key players due to injuries.

For the Nuggets, they have nine players listed on their injury report, including both Murray and Aaron Gordon.

Denver has listed Murray as questionable due to a left ankle sprain and an illness and with Wednesday’s game being the second of a back-to-back, the Nuggets may elect to sit him.

The Nuggets have also listed Bruce Brown as questionable with right knee inflammation while Gordon has been listed as probable and is expected to play despite dealing with a right hamstring strain.

Spencer Jones has also been listed as probable due to left ankle inflammation and an illness, though he is expected to play, while Christian Braun has been ruled out due to a left ankle sprain.

Nikola Jokic, Cameron Johnson, Jonas Valanciunas and Tamar Bates all remain sidelined while recovering from injuries.

Mavericks Injury Report, Will P.J. Washington, Brandon Williams Play?

On the other side, the Mavericks have seven players listed on their injury report, including both P.J. Washington and Brandon Williams.

Dallas has listed Washington as questionable due to a right ankle sprain and he is in danger of missing his fifth consecutive contest.

If Washington is sidelined once again, Marshall will likely continue to start in his place while Klay Thompson could also have an increased role.

The Mavericks have also listed Williams as questionable due to an illness and h is in danger of missing his third straight game.

If Williams is sidelined, Ryan Nembhard and Jaden Hardy could both continue to have increased roles.

Anthony Davis has been ruled out as he is set to miss at least six weeks due to a left finger sprain while Dante Exum, Kyrie Irving and Dereck Lively II remain sidelined while recovering from injuries.

Max Christie has been listed as doubtful due to an illness and he is expected to miss Wednesday’s contest.
