Christopher Reeve’s son, ‘GMA’ reporter Will Reeve, marries in Miami

Good Morning America personality Will Reeve — son of late Superman actor Christopher Reeve — married his partner Amanda Dubin at a weekend ceremony attended by a wealth of the anchor’s TV colleagues.

Robin Roberts, Lara Spencer, Sam Champion, Gio Benitez, and more on-air GMA personalities gathered in Miami for the wedding, with Spencer writing Sunday on Instagram that the television family joined together to “kickoff to the most precious and perfect wedding” before adding “congratulations Will and Amanda. We love you guys so much.”

Reeve, 33, and Dubin, 29, married one day earlier on Saturday, after first announcing their engagement on Nov. 10, 2024, per Entertainment Weekly‘s sister publication, PEOPLE.

“Friday was the happiest night of our lives and we can’t wait to spend forever together,” they said at the time in a joint statement to the outlet.

Roberts also praised Reeve and Dubin on her Instagram page, posing for a photo with her wife, Amber Laign, which she captioned, “Ready to celebrate Amanda & Will,” alongside a ring emoji.

Gio Benitez, another longtime ABC News personality, shared a group photo from the event, where he joined Roberts, Spencer, Champion, Rebecca Jarvis, and more in Florida to honor the newlyweds.

“Magical night celebrating a magical couple,” Benitez wrote on his Instagram Story.

Dubin teased her own wedding online in recent weeks, sharing a carousel of images to Instagram in early January. The photos showed her attending various weddings alongside Reeve, captioning the post, “2025- the year some of my favorite people got married (+ a couple I’m missing!!!!!).”

Reeve replied in the comments, writing, “A million weddings and guess what? We rocked em all.”

Reeve’s father, Christopher, was widely known for his career as an actor, with his most notable role being Clark Kent in 1978’s superhero film Superman.

Christopher died in 2004, nearly a decade after he became paralyzed from the neck down after falling from a horse in 1995.

Will later spoke fondly about director James Gunn deciding to honoring his late father in the 2025 blockbuster Superman (starring David Corenswet in the title role), for which Will filmed a cameo.

“We’re sitting watching all these monitors and things and, out of the corner of my eye or whatever, I hear someone go, ‘Hi, Will.’ With a deep voice,” Will said in a 2025 episode of GMA. “And I see this blue and red and I look up and — I didn’t think it was my dad, but I for a second didn’t register that it was David. And I just look up, I go, ‘Oh, wow. That’s Superman.’ Who, of course, I associate with my dad.”
