Cavs score, injury report vs Mavericks as Max Strus could make debut

CLEVELAND — With only a handful of games remaining in the regular season, a Cavaliers player is set to make his 2025-26 debut as Cleveland battles the Dallas Mavericks March 15 at Rocket Arena.

Max Strus, who has missed the first 67 games as a result of his rehab from offseason foot surgery, is probable to face the Mavs, giving him 15 games to prepare for the playoffs.

Forward Max Strus (foot) is probable. James Harden and Keon Ellis, both dealing with fractured fingers, are available.

The Cavs will be without center Jarrett Allen (knee), Sam Merrill (hamstring), Jaylon Tyson (ankle), Tyrese Proctor (quad) and Craig Porter Jr. (groin).
