If you’re just like us, then you absolutely can’t get enough of two things: Heated Rivalry and the iconic celebrity-led audio originals from Quinn. So when fans got a hint that stars Hudson Williams and Connor Storrie would finally be working with them, well, the internet exploded.
Their chemistry? On fire! Their voices? Playing on a loop in our heads non-stop! So it only makes sense that Quinn brought them back together for another fun project that dials both up to a 10 and leaves us absolutely ready for more!
Unlike some of their previous audio originals, Quinn is changing things up for their final celebrity-led original for 2025, Ember & Ice.
“This is our first duet Quinn Original, with the intimate scenes taking place between the two leads rather than between a lead and the listener,” Quinn founder and CEO Caroline Spiegel revealed to Cosmopolitan. “The sound design is wild, and the spice is truly next level!”
After just a few previews, fans immediately guessed that Hudson and Connor would be starring in this new original, but this is your first look at it starting off with the heart-pounding new poster:
This three-episode romantasy audio erotica series is an MM romance and follows Dane (Connor Storrie) and Finn (Hudson Williams), “two fae princes from feuding courts. They carry on a years-long forbidden affair that culminates in a pivotal moment at a treaty signing between their families.”
Two rivals? Long history? A forbidden affair? This sounds like the perfect story to listen to after spending time in the cottage!
While they’re used to creating sparks together on-set, this experience was still very different for them as they worked together to bring this “strangers to lovers to enemies to…” kind of story to life.
“Before working with Quinn, I had never been in the audio space. I had a lot of fun, to be completely honest,” Connor exclusively told Cosmopolitan.
“I think there is something very interesting about exploring sensuality and erotica just with your voice. It’s like you’re private, you’re alone there with a mic and an audio engineer and you just get to kind of be in your own world and figure out what that means to you and you don’t have your body to express yourself. So that element is really fun, really fun,” Hudson added.
According to Quinn, “Set in a richly imagined fantasy world shaped by history, duty, and forbidden desire, Ember & Ice follows Dante and Finn, two fae princes from the rival Solari and Lunare kingdoms. The series draws listeners deep into the world of the story as it unfolds, positioning them as an intimate observer to every moment of tension, longing, and intimacy between Dane and Finn. At its core, Ember & Ice is a story about choosing love in defiance of expectation.”
If you haven’t yet, you can listen to a sneak peek of the first episode, “Finn,” above before it’s released on December 30 at 12 a.m. PT/3 a.m. ET along with the second episode, “Dante.” The third and final episode will be released on January 6th.
“I was very steamy in that booth,” Hudson said. Honestly, after hearing that preview, you’re going to 100 percent agree!
Connor and Hudson are joining a very long list of celebs who have led audio originals for Quinn including Christropher Briney, Manny Jacinto, Tom Blyth, Thomas Doherty, Andrew Scott, and Victoria Pedretti. But, as we noted before, this is a step in a new direction for the app that definitely makes us excited for what’s next up their sleeve.
“Connor and Hudson have sparked something special and brought a lot of joy to audiences by embracing queer love and sex positivity,” Caroline Spiegel told Cosmopolitan. “We feel very lucky to be working with them at Quinn, and we are excited for everyone to listen.”
And we definitely can’t wait to hear more!
Ember & Ice is available exclusively on Quinn starting on December 30, 2025. Subscribe to Quinn to listen to more.
