Cooper Flagg will not play when the Dallas Mavericks host the OKC Thunder at 7 p.m. CST Sunday.
Flagg is out due to a left midfoot sprain. The rookie forward is averaging a team-high 20.4 points per game for Dallas (21-38), which is looking to bounce back from a 124-105 home loss to the Memphis Grizzlies on Friday.
Meanwhile, OKC (46-15) doesn’t have any new additions to its injury report following a 127-121 overtime home win over the Denver Nuggets on Friday. It remains without Jalen Williams (right hamstring strain) and Ajay Mitchell (abdominal strain and left ankle sprain).

OKC earned a big win over Denver on Friday, and I expect that momentum to carry over when it faces a depleted Dallas team on the road Sunday. The Mavericks will be without leading scorer Cooper Flagg, who’s averaging 20.4 points this season, and plenty of other key contributors are listed as either questionable or doubtful. This should be a convincing victory for the Thunder.
