CLEVELAND, Ohio — Tight end Harold Fannin Jr. (groin) and quarterback Dillon Gabriel (shoulder) were both added to the injury report on Friday and are among six Browns players questionable for the Steelers game on Sunday.
Fannin and Gabriel both suffered their injuries on Friday, and both have a 50-50 chance of playing.
Cornerback Myles Harden also walked off the field with an arm injury and is questionable. The other questionable players are defensive tackle Sam Kamara, Dylan Sampson and Wyatt Teller.
Two players have bee ruled out in tight end David Njoku (knee) and linebacker Winston Reid (back).
Fannin is Shedeur Sanders’ go-to guy, and he’ll miss him terribly if he’s not out there. With Njoku out, the Browns would have to rely on Blake Whiteheart and Brenden Bates.
With Gabriel ailing, the Browns will elevate quarterback Bailey Zappe from the practice squad and have him available to play.
