Another music superstar is heading to Florida for his 2026 tour.
John Mellencamp has announced a tour that kicks off in July in Grand Rapids, Michigan, and wraps up mid-August in California.
When will John Mellencamp come to Florida
He has one show scheduled in the Sunshine State ― for now ― at 8 p.m. Monday, Aug. 3 at MidFlorida Credit Amphitheatre in Tampa.
A ticket presale begins at 10 a.m. Jan. 21, with the public sale starting at 10 a.m. Jan. 23.
John Mellencamp and band perform at Farm Aid 2023, on Saturday, Sept. 23, 2023, at Ruoff Music Center in Noblesville, Indiana.

When did Mellencamp become big star
He’s among many artists who benefited from the early MTV era, when the cable station played music videos before it became a reality TV network.
Mellencamp’s videos like “Pink Houses” ― which has more than 31 million views ― and others were huge, propelling the musician to stardom in the 1980s. The Indiana native’s other hits included “Hurt So Good,” “Jack & Diane,” “Lonely Ol’ Night,” “Small Town” and “Cherry Bomb.”
He entered the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2008 and the Songwriters Hall of Fame a decade later.
