Friday’s Injury Report
Tackle Lane Johnson practiced all week in a limited capacity and is officially questionable for Sunday’s Wild Card matchup with the San Francisco 49ers (4:30 PM, FOX/SportsRadio 94WIP).
Johnson suffered a foot injury in the November 16 win over the Detroit Lions. He did not practice leading up to any of the remaining seven regular-season games.
“Obviously, Lane’s a phenomenal football player, so anytime he’s on the field, you are pumped about that,” Head Coach Nick Sirianni said on Friday. “He’s continuing to grind through and he’s a warrior. He does everything he can possibly do to be out there with us. It’s always good to have him back on the field.”
Linebacker Nakobe Dean, who missed the final two regular-season games with a hamstring injury, practiced fully on Friday and is good to go for Sunday.
“It’s NFL playoff football. Time to turn it up a notch,” Dean said earlier this week. “Everything kind of like cranks up – the speed gets a little bit faster, the players are locked in and teams don’t beat themselves in the playoffs. We have to beat them. That’s what we’re looking at.”
Johnson is not the only questionable Eagle. Offensive lineman Brett Toth practiced in a limited capacity on Friday. He is in the concussion protocol and would need to be cleared by an independent neurologist ahead of Sunday.
The Eagles opened outside linebacker Azeez Ojulari’s practice window this week. He has been on Injured Reserve since November 1 with a hamstring injury. Ojulari was a full participant in practice this week, but he’s listed as questionable as he would need to be activated in order to play.
Everyone else is good to go for the Eagles.
Guard Landon Dickerson rested on Thursday. He was a full participant in Friday’s practice.
Defensive tackle Jalen Carter (hip), safety Marcus Epps (concussion), tight end Dallas Goedert (knee), and outside linebacker Jaelan Phillips (ankle) are among the players who were rested in Week 18 due to injury. They are all good to go as well.
