EB I-90 near Snoqualmie Pass reopened after multiple closures Tuesday night

Officials report snow and slush on the roadway.

SNOQUALMIE PASS, Wash. — Eastbound Interstate 90 west of Snoqualmie Pass reopened after two closures Tuesday night caused by multiple spinouts and crashes, according to the Washington State Department of Transportation.

The road initially closed at milepost 48. It reopened just before 6:30 p.m. The roadway closed again at milepost 47 just after 7 p.m. and reopened shortly after 7:30 p.m.

Westbound lanes are open. Chains are required on all vehicles except all-wheel drive. Oversize vehicles are prohibited. 

Snow and slush is being reported on the road.

Drivers should expect long delays.
